We have ordered boxes of protein items and pastas which are in but not pictured.

  • PRAISE REPORT | WESTRIDGE ELEMENTARY BACK-PACK-PROGRAM

    I just wanted to let you know our church was able to feed 50-65 children for the weekends (including extended weekends) of the entire month of August, thanks to your generosity.

    As the church will be doing pack the pulpit for Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes, we will not be doing one for the backpack program. But we will continue to purchase food and accept donations if any folks want to provide them for November & December.

    Our church will again be providing weekend meals for the kiddos in December and the extra days that the school is closed during holidays. The PICTURES ABOVE are of the shelves in the pantry room, showing what we have right now. We have ordered boxes of protein items and pastas which are in but not pictured. We will still need to purchase the items listed below, should anyone wish to donate some.

    • Pop Tarts

    • Fruit Cups

    • Rice Crispy Treats

    • Hot Chocolate Packs

    • Individual Servings (Pop or Peel Top) of Carrots, Peas, Corn, Green Beans, & Mashed Potatoes.

    I also wanted to ask if anyone's kiddos need to complete a service project for school, or if you would like for them to help? Please let me know and we'll work out the details.

    Miss Janice (Sonia Roach's mother) had an accident and fell. She fractured her left hip and left shoulder.

  • R.E.A.L. LADIES 2025 SIGN-UP SHEET

    If you’re interested in hosting one of the 2025 R.E.A.L. Ladies Bible Study Group’s monthly meetings, be sure to sign-up today! Due to other church activities, the R.E.A.L. Ladies will meet sometime during the 3rd week of each month. Each host is responsible for choosing the:

  • THANKSGIVING’S MID-WEEK SERVICE

    Due to the holiday season and travel plans, we will be making a change to our mid-week service schedule. For Thanksgiving week, we will have our mid-week service on Tuesday, November 26th at 6:30 PM. We will return to our regular Wednesday night schedule the following week.   • OBITUARY FOR HARRY WAYNE MAY (BARBARA SUDDUTH’S BROTHER)

    Harry Wayne May, age 85, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Rayborn officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be observed at gravesite by VFW Post 4075. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.

    Mr. May was born in Frankfort on June 10, 1939, to the late Harry James May and Jessie Colston May. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet as an Engineering Tech III.

    He is survived by his children, Tammie Lynn Carrier and Tracy Lee Tracy (David); siblings, Winston May (Lillie), Barbara Sudduth (Mike), Betty Duvall, and Lois O’Nan (Larry); grandchildren, Joshua Preston (Brittany), Samantha Riley (Shawn), and Zachary Paul; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Bailee, Tucker, Emerson, Brilyn, Walker, Beau, and Benny.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Joy Craddock May; and grandson, Patrick Lee Wise.

    Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Preston, Zachary Paul, Shawn Riley, Brad May, Wayne Duvall, and Buff Rimer.

    Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.

    It is that time of year again! Our service project for the year is the Westridge Elementary School Backpack Program. We are going to pack the pulpit in: October, December, February and April. We need individual servings of food that can be microwaved and easy to open pull top tabs.

    The Holly Hill Tech Team needs help. We would love to have a few more people trained and available to set up the livestreams and audio equipment. It’s a fairly simple task and you’ll be well trained before being thrown into the seat alone. If you’re interested, see David Jones, Brad Gregory, or Brad Proctor.

  • YOUTH ACTIVITIES PLANNING COMMITTEE

  • GREETING CARD MINISTRY

    Every Sunday there are cards spread out on a table in the lobby that will be sent out to various church members and guests who need encouragement. You can help serve and encourage by making sure to sign these cards each week. If you know of someone the church should send a card, please give the name(s) and address to Joyce Best. We have “get-well” cards, “thinking of you” cards, “praying for you” cards, and sympathy cards. You can also text the information to (502) 593-5865.

  • THE CASEY’S BLESSING BOX

    The Casey’s are collecting items for their Blessing Box to help those in need. Currently, they’re accepting donations of the following:

  • SHRINERS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

    Donna White is collecting soda can tabs to donate to the Shriners Children’s Hospital. Please leave your donations in the lobby.
